Just got back from seeing Wall-E...
By far it was the most amazing Pixar movie to date. The visual quality of the film compared to previous Pixar films floored me and the story was up there with Toy Story 2 and Iron Giant. There is pretty much no real dialogue amongst the main characters but the amount of emotion they convey through the simple binocular inspired head of Wall-E and just the eyes of EVE make up for it.
Excellent film. Easily the best one out of their collection.

but about the movie, i used to love Toy Story 1 and 2, and several other Pixar movies, and the graphical quality on those were really good, cant imagine how it could really get much better...might have to check that out |

Re: Just got back from seeing Wall-E...
I saw wall-e on friday I loved it and the short before the movie is by far the best one ever made. Even if the movie sucked I would go back just to watch the short. The movie was great though I have to agree up there with Toy story movies.

Re: Just got back from seeing Wall-E...
I just got back from seeing it
I thought it was okay. Definitely in my opinion story wise not comparable to Toy Story, but the graphics were amazing. I liked Ratatuie (sp and may not be Pixar) and Meet the Robinsons better. It's definitely not a manly action packed movie. I liked it and thought it was funny. My friend thought it was gay. Overal a 3.5/5 But yea, the emotion conveyed between the two characters with little dialogue - very well done. |
