Re: Just got back from seeing Wall-E...

I'm going this weekend. Everyone saying how good it is has got me very excited! I usually am not a huge Pixar fan, so we'll see how it goes.

Re: Just got back from seeing Wall-E...

I saw it Sunday! I thoroughly enjoyed it! I was talking all about it at work today...and yesterday whenever I said either of their names I said it that way.

I will go along with John....I liked how little of dialogue there was, but yet they managed to put alot of emotion into it.

So did anyone else think the photosynthesis/green life label thing was a bit too close to pot? Or that from the get go it was a stab at our society of buying bigger/better, getting fat, too much trash/polution...etc.

I definitely felt the sting of subliminal satire in the movie.

SPOILER WARNING

The thing that bugged me the most was really the ending. I felt like the movie ended with a lot of loose strings. Like how the captain wanted to go back to earth, but you get back there and it ends with just Wall-E and EVE. What about society?

END SPOILER

If you watched the credits it goes into a Egyptian style animated sequence of them cleaning & rebuilding with the help of the robots from the ship.
