Lightbox question

Anyone familiar with Lightbox 2?

I'm trying to use it to improve my picture pages, but I'm running into a problem: when I click on the image, the lightbox appears well down the screen, usually with the picture about 3/4s the way off the screen.

Here's an example of the page that's doing it. Here is a screenshot of what I'm getting in case it actually works correctly for you.

The behavior is happening in FF3 and FF2.0.0.11, but here's the odd thing: the same script, with the same CSS file, on the Lightbox website, works just fine. Similarly, the Lightboxes here (which I believe is a different version or perhaps different software altogether) work fine.

So, my theory is that something I'm doing in the other CSS on the page is causing the problem... When it first happened, I didn't have any CSS; it was a table-based page layout, and I figured the problem was the table. So I removed the tables and made it all CSS. It was working fine but when the page got longer the lightbox moved down...

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Re: Lightbox question

It's fairly long...

And a friend reports that IE under Vista just darkens the window - doesn't give her the box at all...

Also, since the script works perfectly on the Lightbox site, I don't think that's the problem... (And those work fine for my friend.)

Re: Lightbox question

AHHH! I didn't have the Doctype on there! D'oh!

Thanks. That page didn't explicitly have the answer but it made me notice mine was missing.
