actually i was influenced by too many people to name...mostly anyone who was on here 4-6 years ago. seeing james howards site/car as well as craig's made me want to mod. but the actual inspiration for what i did/still doing comes from many different people.

Seeing Pierre's work made me want to put coil=overs and have a 3l
Matt's car made me want to black and blue theme that i have (i picked blue b/c i like it better plus i can't copy him)
Rich/sharkie17/momo inspired me to go custom while retaining simplicity later to just throw that out the window and go extreme.
greg/aircougar was amongst the very first to do lambo doors, so i wanted to be the first to do suicide doors.
ron/excelcier has a few LEDs in his car so i figured on putting 750 of them.

Ive only been around for about a year now, but I gotta say people that come to mind are the other lazer reds fordrule made me want the roush kit and yofavcracka for some of the performance stuff he did with the n/a zetec. I'm not even close to finished with my planned mods

I honestly have to say that when i saw James Howard's Yellow Cougar in Hot Compact & Imports magazine, I was SOLD on the Cougar. So 2 weeks later I bought one!!

Just being on this site has influenced everything I do to my Cougar (or at least have planned for since everything is still in boxes!

)

vodfan was one of this first modded Cougars I saw in person, and still Love that car!

I think EVERY Cougar owner that I meet has some type of influence on me. I get to work on nearly 80-90% of Mass/Conn's Cougars, and that helps me see all the different mods and ideas that each individual has, and I sorta pull hints from each one and mold them into my own...

I just hope that others can be influenced from what i do, and more so after my Cougar is completed...

i thought you only did one door.

i did both doors and they were suicided (hinges installed) before yours but the body work and latching was not finished before yours.
