Going to Disney World next week
I'm going on vacation to Disney World next week. I know that I'm going to build a lightsabre at the Star Wars exhibit.
Anybody know of any "must dos" while I'm there? Edit: I have been to DW before but it was a long time ago. Probably 20 years or so. |

Re: Going to Disney World next week
Richard Petty's driving experience.
A ride-along is cheaper, and you get to go faster. If you drive yourself, your max speed is only around 120-130ish Whatever you can afford, definitely check it out. Pleasure Island at night is neat if you like dance clubs and comedy clubs. You can walk around the streets with open bevarages, which felt weird to me when I did it. No need to finish your drink at whatever bar you're at. Just get up and move to the next one without any hassle. Plus they do a 4th of July type celebration every night. Don't shop too much. It's a waste of frickin time. Hit Space Mountain first thing in the morning and then do whatever other rides afterward. blah I can't remember anything else right now.

Re: Going to Disney World next week
In downtown Disney, there is the Cirque du Solei. Also, this place called DisneyQuest. Its like a big interactive arcade/fun house. We built our own rollercoaster on these things and then you get to RIDE it in these 2 person pods......you flip upside and everything......and the whole time you're riding on it you're looking on the screen in front of you. Awesome. Then we virtual reality sword faught which was pretty cool. Just a bunch of stuff to do in there if you're looking for some fun (people of ALL ages in there). So many different arcade/video game things or whatever you call them. Its not like Mickey mouse and friends games, they're just normal stuff, car races, gun fight things, everything you canthink of. Have fun!
