injuries that suck
so I've had a series of AHHHHHH I DONT WANT TO HEAR ABOUT IT injuries the past few years.
so last wednesday I had my first trip in an ambulance. first words out of the parametics mouth was, sir I'm going to have to ask you to put out the cigarette. anyways I'm glad I called 911, it was an oh **** moment where you knew instantly that the bleeding was not going to stop on its own. anyways I stepped on a razorblade in my garage. freak accident, dunno how there happend to be a razor laying straight up on a generally clean floor and slice straight through my sandle and deep deep into my foot. looks like someone was murdered in my garage. I'd wager to say theres a good pint across my floor. well stitches come out tomorrow, and I can more or less walk around again, thought I would snap a photo before hand, enjoy.

Re: injuries that suck
When I was little I had a similar situation with a nail. Less blood, but walking sucked for about a week afterward.

Re: injuries that suck
i sliced my arm halfway open last summer when i was working on one of our housing complexes, was cutting out a wall and i hit something with the sawzall and it jut out and went right through my arm like paper, was using towels to stop the blood from rushing out and it took around 52 stitches to piece it back together, i have pictures of the scar if your interested? =)

Re: injuries that suck
Ouch! That's an unpleasant surprise.

I guess worst one i ever had happened on my grandfathers ranch. We were cutting up some firewood and i had an axe in one hand and a piece of wood on the other splitting into a kindling. piece of wood slipped as the axe was coming down and it went between my thumb and index finger. About 2 inch gash gushing like a geyser. When i went to the emergency room, They said that i had to wait about an hour. My grandfather dragged me to the desk and showed them my hand. I was seen next. ![]()
