Re: injuries that suck
well I got the stitches out on saturday. looks pretty nasty but its sealed up pretty well.
so I'm taking a note from my dad. He's always had a couple plaques mounted up in his basement workshop labeled "THINK" with routine little projects that turned into hospital visits [one is a chess peice he was trying to cut with a 12" radial arm saw]. Going to do the same for myself, so I have the razor blade as one... and the last visit was when I had to have metal schrapnel ground out from the center of my eye. Now I'm not sure what I want to use to represent that... either the hub assembly I was reshaping or the big ol' grinding disk I was using... what would be cool about mounting the grinding disk would be that I could pull it off the plaque any time I wanted to use it... which I think would be funnier.

Re: injuries that suck
Something similar happened to me once. I got metal shavings in my from grinding. After a day or two i couldn't take it anymore and went to the eye doctor. He basically had to use a pencil grinder to remove the small metal shavings then he had to remove the rust that had formed in my eye. It was all right on top of the retina, too. I felt so much better after he finished. And for a several days afterwards my eye was really sensitive to light. So driving to work at night with everybodies headlights beaming at me was fun as was driving home in the morning with the sun in my face.

Re: injuries that suck
I wonce bent my left ankle past the 90deg point... Tore every ligament in it...
Then my dumbass got up and tried to walk away. Needless to say, I didn't get very far... I'm still amazed my foot remained attached.

my med record states that it takes significantly more anesthesia to put me under than my weight would indicate... dont remember how that came up. but the doc gave me a shot of something and told me that this is significantly more than he would normally give to anyone.... 15 minutes later I remember saying [and as soon as I started speaking, my voice went into slow motion] "ok, thiis feeells awwsooome... buut iit dooees noothiing foor my eeeeye paaiin" and wrote me a perscription for a weeks worth of vicotin. Had to visit an eye surgeon the next morning to remove the rest of the splinter and as you said pyro to dremel out the rust ring, and the next day felt great again... but the medication made for an awsome week long vacation.

Re: injuries that suck
stoopid
axe wound, more commonly referred to as hatchet wound, is another fine name for a lady's downstairs part. Think about the wound a hatchet leaves in a tree, then think a little harder about lady parts.
