I hate getting presents...
yeah... so finally its my girlfriend's bday, and I still have no idea what to get her or how to surprise her... This is a pretty serious relationship and I wana get her something memorable... jewelery? idk idk.. a lot of my friends suggested taking her somewhere like on an airplane or an air balloon or something lol.. I dont live too far away from NYC so maybe take her up on the Empire State building? or a nice short cruise around NYC? well idk any suggestions are welcome.. or if you did something nice to your girlfriend/fiance/wife for her bday/anniversary and it worked out really well let me know.. or rather let us all know cause im sure sooner or later most of us have to think this one through lol

Re: I hate getting presents...
I got the girlfriend Wii Fit lol....she wanted it.
other ideas: Spa treatment - facial, manicure, peticure, massage Gift Certificates to stores she shops at A bath robe (for some reason all girls allways like those) I can think of a tonne of things, but it depends on your budget. You could just take her out to dinner at a fancy place, show up at the door in a suit with a dozen roses etc etc and close the night with a walk in the park or a sunset view. It's romantic and depending where you go to eat, could be cheap. If you wanna go all out, write the things you like about her and attach each thing to each rose. My girlfriend still has all the little cards that I wrote her from when I did it. |

Re: I hate getting presents...
....along with a pearl necklace.....but seriously a nice night out on the town with a small gift waiting for her at end would be good. If you got a bigger budget NYC used to have helicopter tours but I don't know if they still do that since 9-11.

Re: I hate getting presents...
Dude but you gotta be clever with what you get. Cause say you do get Wii fit for her. or a facial or w/e. She could take it as "he thinks I'm ugly" or fat"! You don't want that ever!
I suggest pie! Its sweet, everyone likes it, and its easy to get! Although a **** in a box is a hilarious gift. JK! lol. Jewelry and Traveling are gonna be your best bets. For some odd reason I don't know why but girls love seeing tall buildings(at least the weird ones i talk to). But girls can be pleased with some of the cheesiest things ever that aren't expensive at all! like, write her a poem. But in all you know the girl and what she likes so. Go with MARIO's idea its great! "I mean Marino". lol |
