Since I remember a thread on this before (which is no longer with us) I thought I'd post an update.

Actually, pitot heat is just a switch in the cockpit.

Oh - I though I heard the narrator of the video say something about the maintenance crew being at fault. Regardless, that's a LOT of damage due to a lil agua.

It was, but they didn't need to break out special equipment, just flip a switch.

Maybe they meant to hit the sensor heating switch but hit the eject on accident.
