Antarctic base gets condom haul before winter - Weird news - MSNBC.com

Because they just got a shipment of 16,500 condoms to last them through the winter. McMurdo station has a skeleton crew of like 125 scientists,so sex 2-3 times a day, every day, for the entire winter assuming 62 couples.

I remember reading an article on that outpost a while ago. Living in antartica would be a great diet plan. Most people there loose so much weight because there body has to work over time to keep them warm. We should start a new diet scheme with a tag line: "Freeze your ass off... literally."
