This is not a drill.....
I went to get an alignment and I it turns out I need a r/f tie rod end and the cv boot and axle is torn and leaking. Does anybody here in Ny have one lying around or that maybe can install it for me if I get it?

I don't have any of those parts laying around......but if you don't mind driving out here I will install it for ya, or if you have a place to do it I might be able to come out there.
Get a new axle nut as well....they are a TTY nut and while you can re-use them a few times, I don't like to. |

Re: This is not a drill.....
I know a shop that can do it for you, for a good price. Let me know exactly what you need and i'll give you an exact price quote if you pay CASH or if you pay credit.

Re: This is not a drill.....
Basic tools yes. But scince I don't Know what tools you would need to do this kind of work I'm at a loss.....Ratchet set, pliers, hammer, big screwdrivers, little screwdrivers.....Pretty much it.......I don't mind getting a few more if needed.
I have a SEARS hardware next to me. It sound like the parts are not that expensive...(thank God) I guess I'm kind of worried about the labor..... |

Labor, we'll work something out.
![]() Just make sure that it's the inner tie rod your alignment tech was talking about and not the outer. Normally the inner tie rod isn't a wear item, the outer is. Just double check. I'm going to assume you have a jack and jack stands ![]() |

Re: This is not a drill.....
tools? 2 open ended/or adjustable wrenches
preferrably big...there's a good chance the old one is frozen on there and you're gonna need all the leverage you can get!
