Re: Tinting advice

Yeah, I believe when I got it done, legal was 35% so that's what I got. Plus I only have the 6 inch strip on the windsheild.

And I know my hubby has 35% too and has gotten pulled over for it. I don't know if the law has changed since a few years ago.

But you should be pretty safe. Just don't draw attention to yourself or get mirror or limo tint.

Absolutely. All you have to do is drive with a hot woman in the passenger seat that is showing some clevage. End of problem!. Seriously though I have 35% on mine and i've been pulled over 1,000 times(especially when i had my rims on!) If the car looks nice and its the end of the month cops are just looking for YOU to pull over.. The back three windows can be spray painted black there are no restrictions for those. I would suggest printing out or keeping a tint ticket. I have one from the first time i was pulled over, the Traffic court cop slipped it back to me at the court house. Every time i get pulled over i just whip that puppy out and(not even showing him the ticket, just showing that i have one real quick) And they will let you go.
Technically an officer is not supposed to pull you over for tints. Equiptment violations not including lights ,are SUPPOsED to be secondary tickets, after a stop had been made.
