What A Bunch Of
My turbo build has come to a halt once agian. The J-pipe that came with kit was made for a SMIC not a FMIC. So tired of waiting get one made up and shipped to my door, I went to MIDAS on DPA. He has done a few custom exhasut set-ups a few for my friends and one for 99 4.7L V8 Limited Jeep. He also fabbed up for a custom test pipe. So I hauled the car onto a trailer and brough it over to him to have him make me EXACT FITTING J-PIPE. He said give him two days at most. THIS J-PIPE IS THE LAST PIECE TO MY TURBO BUILD. I worked SATURDAY all day so I and firend of mine can rip into the car and get in done in less then 2 hours. Unbolting turbo and FMIC. Reinstalling and aligning FMIC and piping. Unbolting turbo and re-installing with gaskets. BUT NO COULDN'T DO IT. THE pipe he made to fit is now 3 Inches off to the passenger side. Not to mention I paid $115 for this THING!
In all seriousness I am ready to put this test pipe thru his wondow!! Another week....anothwe week. Better days are coming! Last edited by transient; 10-23-2006 at 10:45 PM. Reason: STOP TRYING TO GET AROUND THE LANGUAGE BLOCK |

Re: What A Bunch Of
And my Exhaust setup is going to end up costing me close to $800 from the Msds headers to the exhaust tips.. If u just want a simple exhaust system they will fab one up for you real cheap tho.. Single 3 inch piping was 175 from the y pipe back and my true dual setup was originally 200 buks but its now three hundered when you include the flex pipes, silicone coating, and heat shields... Pics of headers will come tomorow.. Im also gonna have topshopheadliners do some gloss black powder coating for me aswell... (As you can tell im excited)
