3L swap

iv decided to do a 3l swap instead of modding my 2.5. has anyone else done the swap?

and i use the term in progress loosely....in progress means as i get a little extra cash...lol

but yeah i'm getting there. just taking forever. and i keep getting sidetracked on smaller projects.

Well Robbie I wish I could help ya out, I mean I'd like to learn more about working on motors. So if u just need an extra set of hands cause some jobs require it then just give me a buzz.

np i will need a set of hands now and then. and its amazing what you learn from doing a project like this. especially someone like me who 2 years ago couldnt tell you the difference between a piston and a valve.

hehe... yea, that's why i took cover

i still have those stupid problems. i'm guessing they weren't mounted well when they were installed. i've had almost the same happen to the black cougar and i think the same people installed them. of course, i am afraid to even place the car on those lift support things (when using the jack), so you can imagine how much of a car blonde i am.

so yea bobby (robbie! =D), i'd really appreciate it if you could help a brotha' out ... tear :'(

Well I'm off Tuesdays, Thursdays & usually Saturdays so just hit me up a PM when u need an extra set of hands. Yea I abrely knew what a piston & a valve was but I tell u when ur on the throne in the RR it good to look through a Summit Racing mag & just learn whats what.
