Official Post: January Meet, Saturday the 14th: Gameworks

Here is the official information on January's meet.

January 14th. Let's meet at 3pm on the roof of the Streets of Woodfield Parking Garage right by Gameworks.

3pm hopefully won't make anyone coming from further away from having to get up too early.

I figure we can grab dinner there.. play a couple hours of gaming... and that should put us around 6 or 7 pm... so then everyone is welcome to drive back to my house (Schaumburg to Aurora should make for a nice 45 minute caravan ) and we can hang out at my house.

I hesitate to call it a "party"... but I'l have some snacks and alcohol available.. Nothing compared to Moriki's offering... I can't touch that. and bring PS2 and Gamecube party games if interested... A 57" tv and surround sound makes for a really awesome game of Gran Tarismo 4. If anyone has the force-feedback wheel bring it.

I don't have a lot of room here, but I've got a guest bed, couches, and a not too often used front room with floor space if you are driving in and want to crash for the night. (I've already okayed it with Jen, a very important step).

Alright I'm definitely in for this. We should get a good head count of everyone who will be attending, so we know who to wait for when we are meeting at the parking garage.

Hopefully it won't be cold out like last year when we met there, knock on wood.

I can say with certainty you will be blessed with my presence. If we're gonna do the drinky drink, excellent, but I will need a place to crash out at, preferably one that doesn't have to be shared as I am a bit of a snorer. I may also try to get my buddy Chris to drive down from K-zoo for the weekend if you guys are cool with that, he's got a Civic Si but he's alright.
