I will be moving back home at the end of march and with my newly learned knowledge of collision and refinishing work. So, if anyone needs body work or something that needs painting, that can wait untill the end of march, i will be more than willing to lend a helping hand.
I put alot of pride into my work so much so that my tools are bsically all snap-on and my paint guns are made by Sata. Although, the tools dont make the beholder any better, i can garantee your satisfaction with my work. So, if you are interested just let me know and we can go from there. -Mike

hmmmm.
mike I could definitely use alittle assistance. I need to spray a few areas inside the car [I removed all the sound deadening]. Car is completely gutted and I can have it entirely prepped. I have a 17gal compressor but no paint gun [or the basic knowledge on how to use one].

also, how big of an area is it? the reason i ask is that if you dont mind spraying sherwin williams paint i can currently get 40% off retail price, so i can pick up the paint before i come home and it will save you even more money.

yes they do have automotive paint and i guess it might be possible to paint your house Vista Blue Metallic with the right prep work. as of right now i do not have any pics of my work. i will work on getting some over the next few weeks. its just difficult as WyoTech doesnt allow any electronics in the shop and are really strict about it. but i will see what i can do.

heather! stop wreaking our cars.
and ya, I got nothing but time on my hand. Does S-W make a silver frost? Anyways this photos old but I circled the areas that need spot painted... makes it look alot larger than it really is... I could care less if its looks good or not but I gotta get something on there.

If you are truely not bothered how great it looks i can suggest going with a the basecoat/clearcoat option. It consists of the primer, basecoat, clearcoat. From that picture i would guess 3 quarts of basecoat needed but if you can get a more detailed picture i can make a more accurate guess as i have honestly forgotten how much area there is in a gutted cougar. I can probably try to get you a approximate cost of material by the end of next week. I dont think the price will be too high if i pick up the materials out here for you on my discount.
