How about these storms?

Surviving? I was on Glen Ellyn Rd and Geneva Rd (in Glen Ellyn) around 3:15 PM today and trees (not branches) were falling all over the place! I was never so scared in my life! The cougar is fine. I tried calling 911, but they never picked up before I was in the Walgreen parking lot.

I can't believe there is a second set of storms coming through. What is up with this weather this past week!

there was a hurricane or sumthin by texas i heard?
and theres a stalled front on iowa, so yeah.

We're talking about Illinois . . . that's why this thread is in the Land of Lincoln section . . .

In Gurnee the Naval Reserves were loading up sand bags over by the high school near the Des Plaines River. They're saying it may crest over again, just like it did a couple years ago

Damn small tree actually fell on my car at work. From what i could tell tho no dents or scratches. Had bunch of branches wedged in the rims tho.

I just saw a lot small trees fell all over the street by my apartment, and the street lights is off

, good news is I drove to school today and park in the garage all day,,,

so with these storms, are they driveable or is it something you should stay off the road with? I love storm chasing and it sounds like they are pretty sporty back home so im a little pissed im missing them
