Just got a Cougar

So last weekend I traded my 98 Grand prix GTP in for an 02 MTX Cougar..... I like how it looks, and drives..... But I hate how slow it is.... I think I'm going to save up for a 3.0L swap and build from there, anyways Do you guys know of somewhere in Central KY that does good tuning for our cars ?

Look up Logan Motorsports online and pickup one of their XCal systems. Then find someone in your area with a dyno to tune it.
Look into getting a GMK intake (GMK is a member here on the boards) and get a better exhaust. the factory Coug exhause has 3 cats and 2 mufflers. Most people remove both mufflers and replace the center one (under the passanger cabin) with a flowmaster or something like that.

Then again there's always nitrous :-) which is my personal favorite power adder

too bad i just moved away , i used to be hopkinsville KY. i used to be stationed at fort campbell. i just did a 3L build too.......ahem danny too scared of what his wife will do if he did one

but ask any of us we are all ready to help and work on things.....danny is always good to hold a flash light and hand wrenches lol

Lets see...I went to Fordrules place twice. Once to watch him bust his tranny, once to watch him replace his starter. The 3L...well...once it STARTED...wouldn't idle...it DID sound good though right up until it DIED.

It doe's HAUL though. With Fordrules suspension mods...and a better driver...ME...that car would be flippin awsome

I couldn't believe the difference in handling...and I don't think that cop could either

I'd rather build out a 2.5L to around 250 to 300 HP and play that way...those dream numbers are before the nitrous. See Joey's scared of NAWSSS.

I was planning on getting an Xcal 2, Mostly I just wanted to know if anyone knew of someplace in Central KY to get it dyno'd.
