Confused Estimated Bondo prices?

Alright, I am in TN, but wasn't qutie sure where to put this... but I have a huge dent on the quarter panel of my passenger side on my car, and I was curious if anyone has gotten Bondo done to their vehicle and could just give me a rough estimate if possible (anything at all would be helpful) of how much this may be... I would get pictures, but I am rather embarassed of it But if anyone could give me a rough price of just getting a minor job done on a vehicle I'd greatly appreciate it Thank you.

Re: Estimated Bondo prices?

depending on the type of dent, a body shop likely would straighten most of it out first - or replace the metal all together - not fill the entire dent with bondo. It's really only used to smooth out small uneven spots.
Your best bet is to stop by a body shop and get an estimate. any good shop will do it without you committing to having them do the work.

and on a side note, your colored text is a PITA to read

Sorry about the font I had someone (not a body shop) try and go from the inside and push the dent out.. it budged a little, but not a whole lot... I guess I would be better off to just drop by and ask? I would really hate to buy a Whole brand new quarter panel over a dent that was there when I got the car... Shouldn't there be a way to bypass having to do that leaving it as a last resort

Re: Estimated Bondo prices?

Well, if there is one thing we are Lacking in this area is body shops, etc. So, what exactly would I ask a garage about for a phone # to find someone who specializes in these dents.. aka "dent wizards"

Re: Estimated Bondo prices?

Definately will look into this. If I can't find anything like that, I will go to my local garage that my car keeps in business and ask them for referrals to places that do this type of work. Thanks for all the help
