    Rims and PA Winters

    Hey everyone,
I've got some quick questions now that my cougar is finally back from the body shop... I'm looking to get new rims in a couple months and i'm thinking i'm going to try and get a set of centerlines and powdercoat them. I am concerned about the winters up here though since the cougar is my DD. Although it rarely sees snow covered roads it does often see the wet, salt covered ones right after a storm an stuff. Have any of you had any problems with salt and your rims? Will having them powdercoated help any?

    Thanks
    Kyle

Ah while i'm at it incase anyone cares here is my "fleet" as of now. I will however hopefully be able to put some money into the cougar since my R1 is pending sale and my truck will be payed off by november. What I'm forseeing right now is (in no particular order) an intake, cf hood, rims, and some kind of suspension work, GC's most likely.
Why buy new when you can restore?

Cool... I wont have to worry about snow tires since that is about the only major amount of time that my truck see's the road. Looks like running my 15's seems to be the answer for me!
(also wouldn't you have to recalibrate your speedometer each time you change wheel sizes?)

Its really not off that much. I mean even with my 18"s which are 225/40-18 the speedo is only off 1.5mph at 60mph (really going 58.5mph)
