so i can get custom EL sheets made cheap for them... therefore a LCD swap would cost like 5-10 bux... screw custom cougars pricey mods...

once the dashboard lights are changed, will the dimmer control still dim and lighten the LEDs?

why not just try different tints of electrical tape? If you go to the right store they will have just about any color of electrical tape you can imagine. Thats what I used. just my .02.

dimmer switch is now done, just haven't taken a pic yet. No those are just regular neons under the dash. You are really doing an awesome job on your interior man, and I am sure many people are appreciative that there is finally an official how to on all this lighting change stuff.

Definately go with the 3mm. Back in the day when I did it about 3 years ago, I used 5mm and it was a huge pain. I wish I would have thought to try and find 3mm back then. I totally agree that the green is like the worst looking green I have ever seen in my life!
