    project this summer

Hey everyone, I have a project for this summer that I've been meaning to do the last few years and haven't had any time/money to do it and had a few questions about it. I want to paint all (or a lot) of the interior trim (HVAC, the part that the headlight switch is on, the part on the doors that have the window switches and door handles, center console, and i might do the headliner.)

my questions are what kind of paint should i use? i would imagine acrylic but i could be wrong and don't want to get it then be screwed.

also, is there a link or anything as to how to get off the HVAC and center console and the part with the headlight switch?

    Thanks everyone in advance!
    -Patrick

and also, i forgot to mention a few things, I've always seen all these cars with like tribal decals on the outside that were painted on, is there a way i can do that on the interior or anything like it? like designs on the plastic? is fiberglass safe to drill through or will it crack and splinter?

Unfortunately the original pics are gone. But his first blurry ones are still there. This guys did it years ago and it turned out absolutely awsome.

    Found more of his work.

HVAC, you pull out the four button piece with the defrost on it, usually with something thin, as it just pops out, and there are two screws in there. star bit if memory serves me. also under the ash tray and cig lighter, two more screws. remove all those and it gently pops out (supposed to) and you remove everything else from the inside.
for the head light switch, two screws in the panel under the steering wheel, and take the panel off, and there should be a screw or two in the bottom of the trim piece. pretty simple.
