Re: How To: End the ATX 1-2 Bang Shift!!!
Is this the only speed sensor? I ask because I have a check engine light and it said I have a vehicle speed sensor malfunction code P0500. Is this the sensor I need or is there another one ?

Re: How To: End the ATX 1-2 Bang Shift!!!
Easiest mod ever. Took me 5 min max once the car was jacked up.The factory one pulled right out with my fingers and the new one went it with my hand as well. No extra tools needed. Also the difference in driving is noticable, easy clean shifts and no more letting go of the gas and WAAM! The ATX is all good now.

Re: How To: End the ATX 1-2 Bang Shift!!!
I bought the new sensor and decided to try this tonight. Turned the wheel all the way to the left and it looks like it can certainly be done without jacking the car up and taking the wheel off. But, for some reason I couldn't get the retaining bolt off -- I used a crapload of WD40 on it and still nothing. I pretty much stripped it down trying
anybody else have an issue with getting this bolt off?Mike. |

Re: How To: End the ATX 1-2 Bang Shift!!!
My sensor itself is so corroded that it will not budge! I had a garage spray some anti-corrosion stuff on it that they have...hope that will help. Any suggestions before I attempt to pull it out again?
