RE:100,000 mile club?

Believe it or not, no out of the ordinary problems.
With all the horror stories of the 99s, I feel VERY lucky!
A clogged EGR once, two batteries, front brakes and struts.
I have been running I/H/E and full synthetic for about three years now.

*It's a 99 ATX non-sport BTW.

RE:100,000 mile club?

I have 112000 miles on my 99 and no notable engine mods. Nothing major has happened with the engine yet. I had to have the pigtail harness installed for the flickering headlight problem, as it was way out of control around 105000 miles. Other than that, I've had one or two false alarms on the oxygen sensors (took it to the mechenic and all the sensors read fine, and the CEL never came back), and recently the CEL has triggered once about the catalyst system. Took it to Autozone and they pulled a code indicating I'd need a new catalytic converter, but not having the cash to throw away, I sat on it for a little while and the light never reoccured. The car displays no symptoms of a bad catalytic converter.

RE:100,000 mile club?

i'm almost on 60K:
broken sunroof
2 alternators & batteries
front rotors turned then eventually replaced
flexplate replaced (think it's goin' again)
starter replaced twice
flexpipe starting to break (replaced with aftmkt. y-pipe)
front O2 sensor replaced
driver-side power window switch replaced
passenger side door came unhinged and almost fell completely off

blehh I might have a whole new car by the time I reach 100K. heh

^^^ Is not true. The car has been sold. There will always be a place in my heart for her, but it was time for her to go and to move on. 93 MR2 and 2001 Aprilia RSV Mille R and 91 GSX-R 750 are my new toys.

RE: 100,000 mile club?

I just hit 40k on my 99, and I've only had it since 30k.. I've had alternator, sunroof, starter, and EGR problems in that 10k period.. I wonder what I'll have at 100k..
