What is the biggest thing you have fit inside your Cougar?
A freshly junkyard striped 3.0L duratec.... Remember they leave EVERYTHING stuck to the engine.
THAT was a sight. We used a forklift and a sling to "set" it in the truck. For a full two days i had a twin engine cougar....

Re: What is the biggest thing you have fit inside your Cougar?
a few 8' 2x4's and closed the hatch. I know they arent big volume wise, but they dont even fit in my dad's pick up. I had a hard time getting my guitar's hard case in it, but thats just an awkward shape. Now I'm all over thats. BTW, ST200 prevents a lot of stuff.

Re: What is the biggest thing you have fit inside your Cougar?
My wife showed up once with a dresser wedged in the back. It fit in there so tight all the way around and was heavy enough I had to use a cherry picker to get it out. I asked her how she got it in there and she said two nice guys helped.
I told her it would have been a lot easier to to call me so I could pick it up with my truck. I am constantly amazed at some of the stuff she manages to cram in there.

Re: What is the biggest thing you have fit inside your Cougar?
This... back in October:
I had to take out everything including the passenger seat and still couldn't close the trunk (it was in two pieces.. the top half, and the bottom half.) ![]() Last edited by ND4SPD; 04-27-2008 at 03:24 PM. |
