Re: What is the biggest thing you have fit inside your Cougar?
Fully assembled D16Z6 Honda engine and transmission (WITH SHIFT LINKAGE!!) for whitecougar's Civic, able to shut the hatch and could have probably folded up the rear seats and sat two people back there if I wanted to.

Re: What is the biggest thing you have fit inside your Cougar?
I dont remember the dimensions. I worked at a fish store for many years. The guy that bought the tank ended up in jail.... for a long time.
needless to say I got a steal of a deal on it. It was a custom order tank, but cant remember if it was because of the dimensions or specified glass thickness. eitherway I'll have to find some pics of it, we used it behind our bar at school. bar was a good 14 feet long [with another 6 feet for the L section], triple keggerator. and a stainless steel web bar back with the 125 gallon tank elevated on top of it. bottom edge of the tank was forhead level [gotta keep those things high to prevent people feeding beer to the fish]. eitherway it was sweet, although I still carry the 4 paint scars on my bumper from moving that.

Re: What is the biggest thing you have fit inside your Cougar?
I got a fully welded dual borla CF-tip exhaust to fit inside, from the front seat all the way to the rear hatch compartment, and was able to close the hatch.
Biggest thing though? Two boxes for the frame for a futon chair + ottoman + futon mattress, plus all the throw pillows. The guy at the shop said there was no way it was all fitting. I just said "Sure it will" and we started to stack stuff inside. Mattresses on top, closed the hatch just fine, throw pillows went in the front seat and he said "holy crap that holds a lot." |

I don't think I mentioned it earlier, but I've also put a love seat in the back. Obviously, the hatch did close all the way, but it was only a short trip.
