    Headlight cover removal?

I just bought a 2000 Cougar with one headlight cover busted and the other is cracked. I was just wondering if these can be permanently removed, allowing the projection-type round lenses to be exposed? I think it would improve looks dramatically! Are these round lenses sealed inside so weather is not a problem? Anybody have any experience in this area? Thanks

You have to bake them to release the glue. I don't think it'd look that good or work that well, though.

dont bake them...just use a hair dryer.....and the inside is more flimsey...so a rock or something will crack it quick....try looking for headlights on the for sale

if you replace the headlights dont just throw the ones with broken covers out. I would like them if you would be willing to ship them to me (projector conversion on my VR4).
