Question Basic Tools

I want to become a lot more involved with the mechanical aspects of the Cougar. What are some tools that will actually see some use? I don't really have a lot of space for a bunch of tools that I'll never use, which is why I'd like to keep it as streamlined as possible .

Re: Basic Tools

metric socket sets (regular and deep) have been the most useful for me - and hardly take up any room

Re: Basic Tools

Buy a have descent socket set not some cheap brand. Trust me, you will thank yourself later for doing so. Cheap sockets tend to break and strip bolts. A nice screwdriver set, wrench set, Vise grips. It really depends on what type of work you want to do.

Re: Basic Tools

well, craftsman hand tools (not power tools) are guaranteed forever, stanley is also a good tool brand and a bit less expensive
