Letter from ford?

Did anyone get a letter from ford for an extended warranty that covers emission related components?

I got one today.

The warranty goes for 80K or 8 years, which ever comes first. Sucks, cause I'm at 82K tho. Haha. Well nothin is wrong with my car though, but it still defeats the purpose of mailing me that...

I don't think they check your mileage before sending you a letter like that.

I get extended warranty offers through the mail every now and then, but have not received one recently.

I love the ones where there's a sudden demand for insert car name in bold here and they want to buy your insert car name in bold here for better than BB towards a new car for you.

I got one of those too... I laughed out loud as well... almost showed my boyfriend for kicks before throwing it away.
