maybe it was owned by an elderly person, my dad a few years back bought a 1991 lincoln continental off of a guy that bought it brand new in the middle of 1990 and literaly only drove it to the store and the doctors for 16 years, and when my dad bought it, the car had 18,000 miles on it, it has a lil over 20K miles right now

yup plenty of cars like that... although my gramps was the opposite, he liked to DRIVE [slow and dangerous... lol].

for one reason or another you'll find a lot of cars like that. I know alot of people that live in chicago and own cars but SOLELY use public transit, people that have gotten their license revoked, people who have become disabled and simply cant use it.

9 years, original owner, my only car for 8 of those years and I only have 70k on mine [23k were put on the first 12 weeks of ownership]

when i bought my car in 2005 it had on 47,000 miles because the people that i bought it from were the second owner of it and thye had it sit in their garage for a lil over 2 years only starting it every few days, they liked the car and wanted to keep it for "collector reasons" but they where moving to florida and had 3 cars and they needed 2 so i wheeled and dealed and got the car for $3,000 and all it needed was a ball joint, never had a problem with it other than the damn alternator
