Re: 10 years
I laughed so hard my coworkers looked at me like I simultaneously was struck by some kind of weird alien illness, and whipped out my schlong and slapped it on the counter.
My car turned 7 this year, production date 04/12/2001. FYI: Earliest production would be late spring/early summer 1998, latest production would be spring 2002. If I remember production schedules properly... And yes, I'm never getting rid of her. Last edited by NorCalCoug; 05-23-2008 at 09:34 PM. |

Re: 10 years
Not to talk myself up or anything, but I'm like that all the time in person. Makes for good times when meeting new people.

Re: 10 years
I bought my Cougar on Memorial Day 1998. I don't remember the exact date but I am pretty sure I have owned it 10 years now. The interesting thing is my Cougar is the newest car I own. The others are 61, 69 and 70 models. My truck is a 2002 but I don't consider it a car.

Re: 10 years
Pre-production units (I've seen 3 in person before, and some of the 4-banger automatics were pre-production units) started rolling 1 FEB 1998.
Can't find the article on when the line ended, but news was announced in January of 2002. |

Re: 10 years
So a few McNuggets and lies later we were back at my apartment, having sex doggy-style. Now I didn't plan it that way - that's just how she passed out.
