The 01-02 front bumper redesign totally killed the lines of the car, if you ask me. Doesn't flow, doesn't fit, doesn't work.

I love the 99 front end. I do like the interior of the 01 but that can be changed. Come on you cant go wrong with boobs.

I love the 99' exterior. It's just a bit more garish to me in that sporty type of way. They toned it down too much with the 01 - 02. But the interior in the 01-02 redesign wins my heart. I love the center console, gauges, leather seats, and pedals.

However, I like the gray/black differences in the 99-00 styling.

Which is fine - since I just switched my parts with them and built my perfect cougar... minus a 3L.

01-02 hands down. I loved the rear of the cougar when it came out, but I wasn't fond at all of the front. The 01-02's came out and I loved it.

I think it looks much cleaner.

Yeah I agree with that. Only thing I wish I had is the 01-02 cup holder and nonsmoker ashtray delete. Although Im hunting those down anyway.

well i like my 98 coug but as many have said the interior of an 01-02 is better but that can be fixed just wait for a crash damaged one to turn up i don't like the lexus type front light on the c2 it's mingin the c1 has the aggression behind it the c2 looks to relaxed it's not agressive enough externally

I like the exterior of the 99-00 more than the 01-02, the interior of the 01-02 have advantages but id still stick with my 00.
