2008 NECO Calendar Chat thread - Page 8

if you are wanting to vote on the calendar photos, you have until this sunday at 12:00pm pacific time (3:00pm eastern) to pre-buy your copy.

I originally thought the voting would choose 13 photos, one for each month plus the cover. It was suggested to do a collage of photos for the cover instead, so those not chosen in the top still may be included. I kinda like that idea. Anyone have an opinion on it?

Sounds fine to me, the cover won't be displayed until 2009...

And I officially pre-vote the amazing picture of atlas's car.

I'm not so fond of that. Then the front cover will look too cluttered. I think a nice neat single photo should be the cover and if you want to do a collage, maybe the back cover... how's that for a suggestion? Still do 13 pics plus the back cover collage.

IMO, the front cover could have something to do with the cougar logo

or, another idea - a picture of a cougar that doesn't belong to anyone.

that was sorta the reason behind not having a single pix on the cover.

(and it would be facing a wall for 365 days unseen anyway).

I'm ok with anything on the front cover because it'll be covered until the year is out basically, however, my only concern is it looking like a cluttered mess so my personal opinion is not to have a collage as the front. Look on the store shelves at other calendars, no clutter!

I like the idea of a collage, that way more people can make it on the calendar. I however, see how it would look pretty cluttered for the cover. Goldie, why does the back have to be blank?
