Re: this weekend

I'm going to be up in Chicago this weekend installing my suspension stuff, so I (and my spring compressors) won't be available. You should be able to rent them from Autozone though. It is really cheap, I think it cost like a buck for Steve to rent the crank pulley puller and I'd expect spring compressors to be similar.

Re: this weekend

I've never rented anything from Autozone, but I was under the impression they just charged a deposit which is refunded when the tool is returned.

Re: this weekend

Yeah, but you're charged sales tax on the deposit, and that doesn't get refunded. In then end it costs you a buck or so, depending on the deposit amount.

Re: this weekend

Ah, gotcha. Thats still pretty reasonable. Even a member of TEAM: $27.34 RICING could afford that!

Re: this weekend

why do yo need a spring compressor to install that stuff? does the camber plate have a piece that goes on top of the strut?

Re: this weekend

The camber plates replace the front strut mounts, so you need to take apart the front strut assembly to install them.
