I get to go emissions testing in the Mark VIII today too. Downside is that is failed safety inspection so it gets to go in again tomorrow to get up to snuff.

Lake and Porter counties have emissions b/c of proximity to Chicago and the steel mills

I failed misierably. Threw 6 codes, one was my fault, forgot to hook a sensor back up, and 4 were trans codes, since it was swaped over i dont know if these can be overlooked or what since they dont apply anymore, and i have to check into the other one, P0708 Idle Air Control QAQ Circuit Malfunction. DOnt know what that is

sounds like fun.... oh i blew up a tire today yay!!

wasnt making any noise when i left for class but once i got on the highway i heard this awful noise... though it was that suspension clunk i heard before gone bad in the passenger rear. So i got off and went to a gas station... tire was flat and had worn a line in the side wall. Tried to slowly fill it up.... went to 15ish... let it sit....20...25...30 BOOMB.... F%#$@K.

oh well live and learn.

That sucks.

The Mark VIII was a order of magnitude lower than the limits on all the measured gases.

so emissions also checks to see if you have engine codes? wow I just thought they checked exhaust levels
