Well, the Packers lost, the Vikings beat the Lions and the Bears won, so the Bears now own a 2 game lead in the division with SF up next week.

It was the rams bye week if anyone didnt get the joke... now they get to play the devision leaders... the seahawks.. it might not be pretty....

Hey guys, my house was fine in Evansville. Gus's parents house (Reagan and Heather where you came for the wedding) was a quarter mile from where Newburgh got hit the hardest. I know the news makes it sound like just a trailer court got hit, but it actually covered 3 towns. Everybody is safe as far as my family and friends go, but everybody is feeling the pain of children and whole families that were killed. Unless you were up late Saturday night, you didn't know this was coming. We went to bed the weather man just said we would get rain overnight.

We went to Gus's parents house last night and then had a hard time getting back home because the National Guard had almost all the roads blocked enforcing a curfew. We had to go around a lot tree stumps and debris on the backroads.

On a brighter side, we spent the weekend redecorating Dara's room. It went from looking like Barbie threw up in there to looking like Hilary Duff threw up in there.

Wow. That storm rolled through St. Louis about 10 or so Sat night. I was inside and there were no windows, but it sounded pretty strong. The rain (maybe hail too) and thunder were very audible and there was a tornado watch in affect. Sounds like it didn't let up at all between here and Evansville.

nope, it met up with the low pressure system we already had in the area and the rest is news . . .

our news people weren't even saying it would be a strong storm, they just said expect some rain
