Re: autometer lunar series volt gauge for sale

it's frickin' freezing here too....i had to break out the coat yesterday and that's no good...

we didn't even get a "fall" it went directly from 80 degrees to 40 overnight...hell, on monday we actually had some sleet in the morning. this sucks. the only good thing is, my apartment is located such that i do not require heating or air conditioning, so my power bill is a comfortable $27 year round.

Jen has some friends that live in Peoria... and we've gone for a few years now to the Punkin' Chunkin' Festival held near there every year. Its kinda cool actually... most of the entries are catapults of some kind that can throw a pumpkin a good distance. But the coolest is this 36 floot long compressed air cannon that can fire a pumpkin for nearly a mile. We didn't get to see it this year, but usually they have some old cars in the field and they fire pumpkins at them with this cannon.

And when I say it was cold, it was unusually cold. I had a full winter jacket on and was freezing. It probably because there was a constant strong wind... I was in the middle of a corn field with no wind resistance.

How the hell do you not require heating or air conditioning? Is your apartment in a cave underground or something?

Heating is gonna suck this year. Last year the gas bill was just over $200 for those really cold months... and they say Natural Gas is up 70%... so I've insulated all the windows, etc and will likely be keeping the house at 60 degrees... colder when at work. My poor turtle, I had to close off his terrarium, and will have to buy a heater to keep his linving space above 75.

They should build more "earth homes" eletric/gas bills would be so nice and low.

Shame you didnt stick around longer... in theory the pumpkins should have flown even farther in the cold weather.

The idea of living in an old missile silo is sounding better and better.
