Jason, you bringing the chip with you to the Logans on Friday? If so, any chance of popping it in the car over the weekend and seeing how she's doing? I'm going to be in Michigan over the weekend and am semi-hopeful to maybe pick the car up on the way back if she's ready?

on sunday i have an event at portage HS and dane cook in the evening
Ambitious, but rubbish.
so this weekend was the divisional event at grissom afb. there were 7 cars in sm, i was the only V6 and the other 2 na cars were v8's. the national champ andy leiber was there with his evo 9, a wild car at 27 lbs of boost and 285's on all 4 corners. Took 4th on sat, and 3rd on sunday. ended up 3rd for the weekend, but it was close.
picked up a screw in one 710, corded another, and took some chunks out of a third. they have seen better days though. used the victoracers i bought from kelly on the rear on sunday. on my last run i had a nice 4 wheel drift on the second corner. figured out sat after we were done that the linkage on the tb was rotating past 90*, fixed it, and the car felt MUCH faster on sunday

this is the car. andy is a great guy. I actually rode with his wife who was the 08 xp champ during the second heat when they ran sml. as i was riding going into the 5 cone slalom i thought, "shes IS going to slow down isnt she" nope, drove right at them, right, left, right, left, hammer down and bam gone
so i finally heard back for kumho. left messages with 2 different people. one guy says no dont do it, the other says yes youll be fine just run more tire pressure.
if this is true, I'm stripping the contour and junking it and getting something new
.... mmmmm. profit. and a sweet tranny.
