power just came back on. been off for 6 hrs. good thing too. the house was really starting to warm up, and its worse outside with no breeze so opening the windows wasnt an option

got a call from the school this morning, they had lost power as well and had postponed registration. A friend of ours owns a gas station, well it got struck by lightning and blew the windows out of it
