Re: The Undead Gateway Thread

well marquette took a huge win from Norte Dame last night.

since I dont have cable I had to resort to listening to the game on AM 890 [your home for Notre Dame basketball]. I like listening to them having to announce the failure of them as a team. "how does marquette do it, its like trying to run across the freeway".

anyways finally found my stereo removal tools last night. thank god, because I've been to 6 stores in my area and no one sells them [I'm pretty sure they are illegal in my town, wierd]. so I got a good portion of the dash pulled.

Re: The Undead Gateway Thread

They were that hard to find? When I bought mine a few years back I just stopped by Sears and they had them on the shelf.

Re: The Undead Gateway Thread

ya I originally got mine at autozone a few years back.

I go into stores in my new town, and they look at me like I'm an idiot... you want what? why would you need that.. I've never had anyone ask for that.. etc. the list so far includes, sears, napa, autozone, crazy murphys, and that other chain that sounds similar to autozone.

Re: The Undead Gateway Thread

I remember getting mine at WalMart next to the demo headunits that seem to only play Mexican stations

4. Customer Service Is More Important Than Technical Ability
I was told by someone in management that the mentality was it was far easier to train someone in technical support than customer service. Now my personal view on this is that it is just cheaper/easier for them to hire anyone off the street and give them a month of training on how to follow a script to fix a customer's problem than hire people with actual technical background. The problem this creates is a barrage of customers whom are fed up with the lack of technical knowledge the support staff has. Verizon did however introduce a solution to this problem; Premium Technical Support.
Why I rarely call tech support. I only call if I have exhausted every other possibility.

#2 is one of the dumbest things I've heard/read.
