You know what I hate? When reality smacks you upside the head with a rolled-up newspaper and says "NO!".

Given all the necessary work to get the Vortech kit up and running, I'd say its highly doubtful it'll be ready to go by Cougarfest.

On the other hand, I should at least have a Cougar for Cougarfest, so I've got that going for me.

Actually, I just crunched a ton of numbers . . . it may not be as dire as I thought. We'll see.

I'll say this - I estimate a personal net loss of at least $3300 from my old position versus my new position, and I won't even be able to begin to correct that disparity until the end of May.

But anyways, unless I can somehow luck in to getting Vortech to cover the failed jackshaft - and I'm not holding my breath on that - then its gonna be an awfully dicey proposition because I again refuse to finance any car mods.
