Re: The Undead Gateway Thread

So, it's snowing now and I've reaffirmed my distrust for weather people. Originally it was 4-7" overnight, but we got nothing. Then this morning it was 2-4". Now we have 6+" of snow on the ground and it is still falling. Nice to see they can't even get in the right ball park.

I went out for my pilots license about 10 years ago. the first landing I had to do was in a pretty steep cross wind. instructor kept barking about it being easy and you just snap it over at the last second.... just snap it over.

scared the **** out of me, and ended up dropping out of the program because of that.

found out a few years later the guy was a raging drunk. got arrested for punching one of his students and had a BAC 4 times the dui limit... this was at 9am in the morning... so there was probably more to the landing he had me do than he led me to believe.

Yup, just snap it over.

Re: The Undead Gateway Thread

The first two are how it should be done, the third one, not so much. The F-18A/C looked particularly dicey.

My dad wants me to try the whole 50 states thing too, but I can only imagine how expensive that is. He's done Ultra's? WOW! I can't imagine doing that, but then again a few years ago I couldn't imagine doing even 1 marathon. Have you gotten him a baby jogger yet?

This is for Terry too about that link. At the St Jude marathon there was a guy who looked about 80 who had a tshirt that said he was on his 70+ marathon. I'm a newb to marathons compared to a lot of those people. People really travel around and go to 1 or 2 a month.
