Re: The Undead Gateway Thread

you need to lower ride height at the LF and RR at the spring, I would most likely say a turn or so, then resettle the suspension and check the corner weights again.

Re: The Undead Gateway Thread

So, Briggs has been resigned and Berrian is gone. What are the Bears going to do for receivers now? They have Bradley, Davis, Hester, and...???

Re: The Undead Gateway Thread

its been in the trunk for almost 2 years. now its actually where it should be. was easier than I was expecting to swap. simply pull the exhaust. remove the 6 washer things that hold the heat shield in place. remove heat shield. remove atx shifter cable, seperate cable from shifter from guide mount. unbolt shifter column from under the car. replace! simple as that.

I still cant get the damn pedal assembly off! if I had more travel in the brake pedal I think it would be doable, but I have like nothing to work with.... how can I get more travel?

I'm more concerned about the lack of fixing the offensive line. The ViQueens WAY overpaid for Berrian - I would have liked to keep him, but not for that price! - but the receiver situation I'm not too worried about to be honest. The Bears just extended Des Clark - I bet we'll be seeing a lot of two-TE sets with Clark and Olson on the field, and don't forget, Olson is as fast a receiver and can easily be split out.

Lets face it, the Bears were in a bad situation - hugely overpay for Berrian or try to bring in some less heralded receivers. This garbage about Devin Hester being a number one wide receiver is idiotic - he's too small, and I'm afraid they're going to diminish his value as a returner unless they just use him as a decoy and/or a "Rex is gonna put it up, you just run underneath it" play. Bradley's been a tease his entire career, but its curious the Bears didn't play him more towards the end of the season if they weren't going to franchise Berrian. I don't think Davis is any more than a slot receiver, though he appears to be fairly competent in that capacity.

I think the Bears should have franchised Berrian, but I don't blame them for not, and if Minnesota wants to overpay him that badly, they can go right ahead. But the Bears still need a guard and a running back, and thats assuming they plan on taking a left tackle with their first round draft pick, and if thats the case, they better not guess wrong.
