Re: The Undead Gateway Thread
Definately a move in the right direction. The O-line needs quite a bit of work this offseason.

Re: The Undead Gateway Thread
Fortunately this year's draft is balls deep with offensive tackles. My money's on the Bears moving Tait to right tackle, signing Alan Faneca and Travelle Wharton, and drafting a defensive tackle in the first round, maybe a running back.

Re: The Undead Gateway Thread
id like them to alternate left and right. it wouldnt be a huge deal, but it would keep them on their toes. or once everyone shows up to qualify say, "were going right this week" and have them scramble to set up the cars

Re: The Undead Gateway Thread
I'd like to see them get away from oval tracks altogether. Since Formula One can't seem to get it right here in the US, I'd love to see an American open-wheel series consisting entirely of road courses, which are always more fun than watching cars run around in circles for three hours on end. Hell, I even sorta try to keep up with the NECKCAR schedule so I can see the two road events they have each year.

Re: The Undead Gateway Thread
Nothing against SCCA events, but they aren't really the same as a pre-split CART race.

Re: The Undead Gateway Thread
I suppose I should have used the "successful" qualifier in that post. IRL is up to five road courses, and I have a feeling there will be more added to the schedule to further differentiate them from stock car racing. NASCAR has a monopoly on oval tracks, and if the new series wants to be successful, they need to do as much as possible to differentiate themselves from NASCAR. There's a LOT of racing fans like you and I that love racing but hate circle track.
