hey tom, I need some assistance... brake pads and rotors for the towncar... whats nice. I desperately need to order a set on monday.


btw, the towncar is back. they ended up replacing ~30feet of brake tubing. I was expecting that to cost a fortune, nope, it was 350 which hey was ALOT less than I was expecting.

On the Mark VIII I run Brembo replacement rotors from TireRack. I don't recall the brand of pads, but they were just the ceramic version of whatever the parts store carried. The braking acceptable, but definately not as good as the Cougar. For a DD, I'm not willing to put up with the kind of dusting and squealing that I get from the Carbotechs on the Cougar, so I'm willing to sacrifice a bit.

so how does one go about getting a rim off of a hub when it is stuck on there. im half way through the koni/gc swap and the drivers front wont come off. ive fought with it for a half hour now
