Had a really nice bike [apparently the frame is EXTREMELY desirable now even though its 20 years old]. Schwinn Criss-Cross which was one of the original hybrid bikes. anyways sister decided to take it mountain biking with her boyfriend. totally totally bent both wheels very severely [either that or she ran it over with a car, its hard to tell the difference].

She flatly denies damaging my bike. its like listen, your the ONLY other person who is capable of riding a bike in this family and I KNOW you borrowed it.

Anyways her solution to being out of a bike was to buy a new one for herself. sigh...

I'm interested to find out what was broken on the plane.

Also, I'd say to an extent they do know how to fly . . . or at least crash land. Sounds like the plane came down on rather soft turf, which could have turned nasty if the pilot hadn't kept the plane level-ish. I doubt no one gets badly hurt if a wing-tip digs in to the ground on touchdown and the laws of physics take over.

It will indeed be interesting to see just what happened. Based on what I've seen so far any attempt to explain what happen would just be a guess, and not a very educated one at that. It's a shame to see this happen because I believe the 777 had a perfect safety record until today.
