GT3 actually made me start hating racing games. I finished 1 and 2 to 100 percent completion, but I got to about 40 percent on GT3 and just couldn't do it any more.

What broke me was the Zonda. There was a manufacturer's cup race for the Zonda, and I could always finish second but never win it because I was driving the street version of the Zonda and I couldn't beat out the race-prepped version. You couldn't just buy the race-prepped version either, you had to win it. I did one endurance race at least a half-dozen times because that was the only way to win the Zonda, and I never effing got it because your reward for winning the endurance race was one of three cars the computer chose for you at random.

Now, I'll admit that with Forza I'm using a walkthrough . . . which doesn't actually help you win races, but it does help you receive cars in an order which keeps you from having to buy many of them. I'm at level 11 and I haven't spent a dime on performance parts or new cars.

I think it was GT2. But you can't finish it at 100% only 98. They removed part of the game right before completion.

That was only on the early versions, from what I remember. And if 98 percent is the maximum percent you can complete, it then BECOMES 100 percent.
