It definitely can be fun . . . I'm still sort of easing back in to the world of RWD, though having, real, live tires makes a world of difference. It was great today, I was pulling on to a main road off of the subdivision lane, which had been plowed but still had a considerable amount of snow on it. I was trying to merge in to traffic so I disabled the traction control, got a bit of a running start and launched the car on to the intersecting road. I shot right across the two near lanes and cranked the wheel, feeling the ass-end kick out, then grab as I modulated the throttle. I definitely scared some people as I grabbed traction and accelerated. God I love that V-8.

well I got all the sound deadening out this weekend, bit of a hint for you jason, for the floor material, a hairdrier will make removal trivial [transmittion tunnel, rear seats and trunk are a bit different, hairdrier definitely helps but still a royal PITA], anyways I'll get some final weights up for the material tomorrow.

oh so the complete seatbelt assembly of the car clocks in at 12.55 pounds.
