havent touched it since we last talked about it. should start back on that stuff mid/late winter once most of the house is finished. I now need to be collecting my own tools to work on that stuff so its going to take a while before I hit my stride.

oh ya, the garage is looking ****ing fantastic. walls turned out perfect. all the thousands of gouges the previous owner left in the wall from slamming her car door into it every day are completely invisible, as is any other blemish.

note to self. never paint the walls at night. millions of bugs are now bonded to the wall. So thats going to slow down the process because I dont have many days off anymore.

but ya last night I got the 2nd coat of primer up and 2 coats of painting all the edges and corners. I still have a few places to spot paint above the garage door [not that anyone will ever see it but I'm being anal]. Then I can get the 2 coats of regular paint up.

oh and I have to replace my entrance door, the frame is completely cracked, cracked the the point the door will hardly stay closed. mmmmmm, steel security door.... mmmmmm.

so I'm going to be making a trip to either menards or lowes this week and picking one up.

i saw a guy who had painted his racecar near dusk, outside(no booth, but its a racecar so it rarely matters) the next day, his car had a nice texture of bug in the paint. I swear some of them looked like they swam around in the paint before dying

oh ya they are straight up attracted to it. there were crowds of them swarming just waiting for me to put a fresh brush stroke up there and it was like a competition to see who could land on it first.
