And Terec is 100% correct ... i might end up in Wichita ... but i never said i liked it. Its boring ... not alot to do ... and its just so damn FLAT. Its windy as hell and theres not thing to block it .... theres like 2 types of trees that will grow there. an ugly half dead looking pine and an ugly half dead looking tree that produces these funky huge fruit / nut things. And even worse all the roads are competely strait and north south or east west. Makes it easy to get around .... but gawd its boring. Oh and im not used to the majority of roads being DIRT.... bleh.

tsk tsk tsk. ya I would say what you had was very common for interviews in engineering [most of mine were of that style].

and my stance on talking is the only time I'm quite is when one of the other applicants is shooting himself in the foot... you HAVE to be active in the conversation!

yeah, but i think it was better to be quiet than to be talking out my ass about a market i clearly didnt know as well as the others. But with them hiring 40 engineers this semester I still have a decent shot at a position
